The Space Between

You’re here because you’re already dreaming of something more intimate.

Elopements and intimate weddings create something rare: space.

Space to breathe.

Space to feel.

Space to actually experience the day you’ve been dreaming about.

Without the pressure of timelines, expectations, or performance, moments are allowed to unfold naturally. Often becoming more meaningful than anything planned. These celebrations aren’t smaller; they’re deeper. They’re shaped by presence, not production.

Too often, couples carry the weight of expectations. Worrying about decisions, logistics, or something going wrong instead of being fully present with one another. What’s meant to feel joyful becomes rushed. What’s meant to feel meaningful becomes overwhelming.

If you’re here, it’s likely because you want something different. A day centered on you and your partner. A celebration shaped by intention, not obligation. One that leaves room for connection, emotion, and moments that feel true to who you are.

When the Dream Is Clear, but the Details Feel Heavy

A day that feels intentional. Unrushed. True to you.

Maybe you’re imagining planning a Virginia elopement in the mountains, or along the East Coast. Or maybe you’re drawn to the idea of a destination elopement; somewhere new and breathtaking.

But once the dreaming begins, the questions follow.

  • How do we find a location that’s beautiful, accessible, and actually allowed?
  • What does elopement planning look like when the day isn’t built around a traditional wedding timeline?
  • How do we include the people we love without turning an intimate wedding into something it was never meant to be?

This is where many couples start to feel overwhelmed.

This is where I come in.

You choose your important details.

I will help everything else fall into place.

My elopement experience is designed to gently guide you from feeling overwhelmed by planning to feeling grounded and excited about creating a non-traditional wedding day that actually feels like yours.

When it comes to planning an intimate wedding or elopement, the options are as limitless as your imagination. I’ll walk alongside you through each step. From uncovering meaningful locations, to helping you navigate vendors, to shaping a timeline that leaves room to breathe.

And when the day arrives, I’ll document it as it unfolds. Honestly, artfully, and without interruption, so you can remember not just how it looked, but how it felt, no matter where your story takes you.

Here's how it works:

It begins with a conversation.

We’ll talk through where you are in the process. Even if all you have right now is a feeling or a loose idea. This call is about clarity, not commitment. I take time to get to know you, your story, and what matters most, so we can begin shaping the foundation of your elopement with intention.

Once you’re officially booked, I’ll send thoughtful questionnaires that help me understand your vision more clearly. From there, I curate elopement location ideas that align with the experience you’re dreaming of; be it in Virginia or somewhere new.

When the bigger picture starts to feel clear, we move into the details. I’ll guide you through lodging options, vendor recommendations, timeline flow, permits, and the logistics that need attention. All of this leading to a smooth, no-pressure, fun-filled wedding day!

"So... are we really taking photos for 8+ hours?"

Yes, BUT not in the way you're probably imagining.

Those hours aren't spent posing or performing for the camera. They're shaped around an intentional flow of experiences. An itinerary designed around how you want your day to feel.

  • That might look like a slow morning together in a cabin in the Shenandoah Mountains.
  • Walking along the coast at sunrise, letting the wind and waves set the pace.
  • A scenic boat tour on Lake Como in Italy, taking in the views after an intimate ceremony.
  • Walking up the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland to a secluded location to say your vows.
  • Exploring a new city and its hole-in-the-wall cuisines and attractions.

You're not doing these things for photos. You're doing them because this is how you want the first chapter of your story to begin.

You focus on fully living the day as I document it and gently guide you. Most of what I capture lives in the in-between; movement, connection, stillness, laughter. Moments that can't be planned, just given time.
